Florian Krisper

Florian Krisper is an Austrian physician and musician, founder and leader of the Ballorchester
“Dr. Krisper” (founded in 1989). The ensemble performs in the traditional 19th-century Viennese ball orchestra style, where the leader acts as both concertmaster and conductor (Stehgeiger).

Its repertoire focuses on traditional Viennese dance music, including waltzes, polkas, marches, tangos, and quadrilles by composers such as Johann Strauss I & II, Franz Lehár, Robert Stolz, Carl Michael Ziehrer, and Josef Lanner.
