Arman Simonyan

Born in Gyumri, Armenia, Arman Simonyan began violin at age four and later studied at the Moscow Conservatory, graduating in 2002. During his studies he served as concertmaster of the Conservatory Orchestra and Hermitage Chamber Orchestra and collaborated with conductors such as Spivakov, Mehta, and Maazel. Since 2002 he has been based in Brussels, working as both performer and teacher. He has appeared as soloist and chamber musician internationally, received the Young Talent nomination in Belgium, and is currently Artistic Director and Conductor of the EEB1 Symphony Orchestra.
