

Arsen Grigoryan
Born on September 13, 1991 in Stepanakert, studied at Stepanakert N5 secondary school. In 2006, he entered the brass instruments (clarinet) department of the Sayat-Nova music school in Stepanakert, in 2008 he participated in the brass instruments Ed. Ghazaryan competition and won the first prize. In 2009, he won the honorable first place at the "Renaissance" competition-festival held in Gyumri.
In 2010, he was admitted to the department of orchestral brass instruments (clarinet) of Yerevan Komitas Conservatory. He served in the Armenian army in 2010-2012. In 2013, he won the first place at the republican competition of clarinet players named after Abgar Muradyan. In 2014, he participated in the Armenian-Georgian festival of modern music. In 2015, he took second place at the international clarinet competition held in Carlino, Italy.
In 2017, he graduated from the department of brass instruments of Yerevan Komitas Conservatory.
In 2019, he participated in the "Tsinandali" international festival in Georgia as concertmaster of the clarinet group.
Since 2019, he has been working at the Yerevan Komitas Conservatory as a clarinet lecturer.
Since 2018, he has been working in the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, now he is the concertmaster of the clarinet group.
Since 2018, he is a clarinetist of the contemporary ensemble "Asonance".
He received master classes from world-famous clarinetists: Martin Frost, Joze Kotar, Celesta Seewald, Boris Alaverdyan, Rafael Baghdasaryan, Alessandro Carbonara, Alexander Tasic, Viktor Kulk, Stepan Vermeersch.
