Denis Severin
Denis Severin is an award-winning cellist and professor of cello at the Geneva-Neuchâtel University of Music and the Bern University of Arts. A laureate of multiple international competitions, he has been recognized with prestigious awards, including:
- Echo Klassik Prize (2015)
- Grammy Award (2007)
- International Classical Music Award (2018)
Denis performs as a soloist and chamber musician in some of the world’s most renowned concert halls and collaborates with distinguished ensembles and musicians. He is a frequent guest at prestigious music festivals and serves as a jury member for various international music competitions.
In addition to his performing and teaching career, Denis is actively involved in artistic leadership:
- Artistic Director of Art Cello Festival
- Artistic Director of Schloss Konzerte Beuggen (Germany) concert series
- President of Association “Art Without Borders Basel”
