Irina Rozanova

Irina is a Russian organist, laureate of international competitions, and a member of both the Union of Concert Performers and the Union of Musicians. At 14, she completed high school and enrolled at ITMO University. In 2010, she graduated from the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, specializing in organ and harpsichord. She studied organ under N. I. Oksenintyan (Professor and People's Artist of Russia) and harpsichord under I. V. Rozanova (Professor and Doctor of Arts). Later, she pursued postgraduate studies at the P. I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory under A. A. Parshin (Professor and Honored Artist of Russia) and attended numerous master classes with leading European organists.

 

Rozanova regularly performs both solo and in ensembles across Russia, including Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Perm, Saratov, Krasnoyarsk, Sochi, Arkhangelsk, and Petrozavodsk, as well as internationally in Belarus, Ukraine, England, Scotland, Malta, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, and Slovenia. Her repertoire spans various styles and eras, featuring works by both Russian and international composers. She actively collaborates with leading orchestras and choral groups. In 2011, she recorded two albums: one featuring the music of Marcel Dupré and another with Luigi Boccherini’s Stabat Mater.

 

Since 2014, she has served as the artistic director of the "Musical Evenings in Oranienbaum" project. Alongside Alexander Kharkovsky, she co-hosts the Sounding Sphere program on Radio Russia Saint Petersburg. She has been teaching organ at the M. I. Glinka Choir School for Boys since 2014 and has held the position of resident organist at the Tavrichesky Capella (Palace) since 2019. In 2020, she received a scholarship from the Yuri Bashmet Foundation. Since 2022, she has been a soloist with the Governor’s Orchestra of Saint Petersburg.
