Radu Ratoi

Radu Ratoi is a Moldovan accordionist based in Copenhagen and is regarded as one of the leading accordionists of his generation. Praised for his virtuosity, versatility, and originality, he has won more than 60 national and international awards, including the 2024 Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York and Denmark’s prestigious Léonie Sonning Talent Prize. He has performed at major venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, DR Concert Hall, and the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. Ratoi is also recognized for expanding the accordion repertoire through his arrangements, recordings, and innovative artistic projects.
