

Ursula von Lerber
Finnish pianist Ursula von Lerber performs as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe. She has appeared with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Tapiola Sinfonietta, and Sinfonia Finlandia in Helsinki. In France, she has performed at festivals such as Musicora, Île de France, and Normandie Impressionnisme.
She has also performed in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, England, Ireland, Italy, Iceland, and South Korea and has been featured in broadcasts on French and Finnish radio.
Von Lerber studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, earning a Concert Diploma with distinction and a Master of Arts under the direction of Liisa Pohjola. She continued her piano studies in Paris with Konstantin Bogino while also specializing in chamber music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris (cycle de perfectionnement) under Michel Strauss.
She later studied with György Sebök at Indiana University in Bloomington, USA, obtaining a diploma. In 1992, she became a laureate of the Maj Lind Piano Competition in Helsinki, and in 1999, she was awarded the Kuhmo Prize at the Kuhmo International Trio Competition in Finland, performing alongside Nathanaëlle Marie and Katarzyna Ewald.
In 1996, von Lerber recorded two trios by Georges Migot for the Musidisc label with Nathanaëlle Marie (violin) and Clara Strauss (cello). The recording received critical acclaim from major publications, including Le Monde de la Musique, Diapason, and Répertoire des Disques Compacts.
